Apple ID password and Family Sharing

When trying to approve a download in Family Sharing, my Apple ID password is not being acknowledged. I repeatedly receive the request fro my password. I logged out and back in, contacted Apple Support and re-set my password, but it still doesn't work. This happens on both my iPhone and my iPad.
